I installed a supertrapp with 8 discs and closed end cap first, then switched to the open end cap for better sound. The "spacer" is removed from the carb and I drilled out the cap over the air/fuel mixture screw. I installed a Uni foam pod air filter. I began with going from a 145 main jet to 155. At this point, the bike ran and sounded well when accelerating, but would die on throttle roll off with clutch in (usually at stop signs). It would idle fine just sitting there until you cracked the throttle a bit. If I screw the fuel air screw in to relieve this problem a bit, the popping gets much worse. Srewing it out eliminates the popping, but dieing increases. I tried going down to a 150 main jet with little improvement. Can anyone help?
